Man loses his life after beating in Torreón; authorities are already investigating

A man lost his life after a beating in Torreón, his body was located on Sunday morning by some relatives.

The events occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, in the house marked with number 9,468 on Avenida Juárez in the Joyas del Desierto neighborhood, located in the Oriente sector of Torreón.

The deceased is identified as the one who in life responded to the name of Héctor Manuel González Gordillo, 47 years old.

According to the first reports, Saturday night was the last time the deceased was seen alive by his relativesthis after he told them that he would attend a dance in the San Miguel ejido in the municipality of Matamoros.

When morning arrived, a relative of the man went to his home where he found the main door open and upon entering he observed that Héctor Manuel was covered in blood, wearing only underwear and lying in the living room of the house, so he did not hesitate. to contact the 911 emergency line.

People from the Municipal Public Security Directorate met, as well as paramedics from the Red Cross, who entered the house to take the man’s vital signs and found that he was no longer alive, for which they reported to the corresponding authorities who were in charge of cordoning off the area pending the arrival of the investigators from the Public Ministry.

Elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) of the Laguna I Delegation of the State Attorney General’s Office, accompanied by personnel from the unit of the Expert Services unit, went to the place of discovery to gather the necessary evidence and later order the transfer of the body to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) for the practice of rigorous necropsy with which the formal cause of death will be determined.

The authorities at first glance appreciated multiple injuries to the deceased in different parts of the body, as well as blows to the head caused by a bat.

The investigating agent of the Public Ministry of the Homicide unit learned of the facts and opened the investigation folder in order to find the whereabouts of who or who caused the death of Héctor Manuel.

Relatives of the deceased met outside his home in order to collaborate with the authorities.
