Morena licenses are raining in the Chamber of Deputies due to elections

Mexico City.– The Chamber of Deputies approved giving leave to a group of 15 legislators from Morena, after the leadership of that party called on the candidates for the federal Congress to dedicate their efforts to the territorial campaign.

With this, in three days, 21 Morena deputies have requested leave, the majority for only one month.

At the beginning of the week, the party leadership instructed the party’s candidates for the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, who are currently legislators, to apply for leave no later than April 4.

It was argued that they should concentrate on the territorial campaign, on the tours from house to house, to strengthen the chances of victory of the Let’s Keep Making History coalition.

Although the license of vice coordinator Leonel Godoy, who is seeking re-election, was presented yesterday, a vote has not yet been taken.

The coordinator Ignacio Mier, candidate for the Senate for Puebla, is expected to remain in office.

This Thursday, Blanca Araceli Narro, from the second constituency, requested a license; Sonia Rincón Chanona, from the third constituency; Olegaria Carrasco Macías, from district 6 of Sinaloa; Marco Rosendo Medina, from district 1 of Tabasco, and Armando Corona Arvizu, from district 12 of the State of Mexico.

Also Francisco Javier Borrego, from district 2 of Coahuila; Daniel Murguía, district 1 of Chihuahua; Rocío Natali Barrera, from the third district, and Rosa Hernández Espejo, from district 4 of Veracruz.

Juan Ángel Bautista Bravo, from district 31 of the State of Mexico, was added to the list; Irma Juan Carlos, district 2 of Oaxaca; Mónica Herrera, from district 7 of Veracruz; Ana Elizabeth Ayala, district 2 of Sinaloa; Dulce María Corina Villegas, from the 15th district of Veracruz; and Mario Miguel Carrillo Cubillas, from the 13th district of Puebla, whose deputy, Moisés Villaverde Mier, is the nephew of Ignacio Mier.

Yesterday, deputies Carlos Sánchez Barrios, from district 7 of Guerrero, also requested leave; Manuel de Jesús Baldenebro Arredondo, district 1 of Sonora; Olga Juliana Elizondo Guerra, district 2 of Tamaulipas, and Óscar Cantón Zetina, from Tabasco for the third district.

On Tuesday, Roberto Ángel Domínguez Rodríguez, from the 28th district of the State of Mexico, and Alejandro Carvajal Hidalgo, from the 6th district of Puebla, also separated from office.

Also included in the licenses granted are PVEM Mario Xavier Peraza Ramírez, from District 2 of Yucatán; for the PAN, Riult Rivera Gutiérrez, from district 1 of Colima; by the PRI Jaime Bueno Zertuche, district 7 of Coahuila; and for the PRD, Mauricio Prieto Gómez, district 2 of Michoacán.
