President Sisi signs the register of honor with the memorial text in the New Administrative Capital

Following the end of the constitutional swearing-in session, President Sisi placed a wreath at the Unknown Soldier Memorial in the New Administrative Capital.
President Sisi gave the martyr’s salute, then signed the register of honor.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Hanafi Jabali, and the two representatives of the House of Representatives, Counselor Ahmed Saad and Representative Mohamed Abu Al-Enein, received President Sisi, after his arrival at the Parliament building in the Administrative Capital.
Also present were Counselor Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razek, the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Minister Abbas. Kamel, head of General Intelligence, greets the president upon his entry into the building.
On December 18, the National Elections Authority announced that Sisi had won a new presidential term after obtaining 39.7 million votes, or 89.6% of the total number of votes cast.
The session witnessed the procedures for President Sisi taking the constitutional oath for a new presidential term starting the day after taking the constitutional oath on April 3, in accordance with Article 140 of the Constitution.
