“SAR” announces the success of the operational plan for the Ramadan season

The Saudi Railways Company “SAR” announced the success of the operational plan for this year’s Ramadan season 1445 AH, noting that it had achieved unprecedented numbers by transporting more than one million passengers, an increase of 22% compared to Ramadan 1444 AH, and this was through 2,845 trips, an increase of 12% over the same period of the year. Last year, via the Haramain Express Train, which connects Mecca to Medina, as part of serving the guests of God and facilitating their performance of their rituals with ease and ease.
She explained that the increase in the capacity of the Haramain Express train was one of the most important elements of the operational plan for the season, as the number of trips was increased, and the number of available seats was increased, which reflects the continuous efforts to improve the travel experience for the pilgrims, and contribute to providing wider options for transporting passengers at times that suit them.
