‘Sripatum University’ Udom Suksa Swing Champion ‘Chang Golf U Champions Cup 2024’ Field 1

Thai Beverage Public Company Limited by “Chang Brand Natural Mineral Water” together with The Genz launch the high school swing duel, “Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2024”, starting with the first course at Lakeview. Resort and Golf Club, Phetchaburi Province, between 6-7 April 2024

“Chang Brand Natural Mineral Water” is committed to playing a part in the development of the Thai golf industry. both at the youth level and higher education Therefore, this competition has been held continuously for the 5th year in order to promote golf athletes in higher education to have a continuous competition stage. and create opportunities for golfers at the higher education level to have a place to compete in order to develop their potential to become professional golfers. There are 10 leading universities in the country accepting to compete for scholarships.

“Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2024” competes in qualifying rounds at 2 fields and final round at 1 field, competing in teams of 4 people (calculating the best score of 3 people). In the qualifying round, there are 2 fields of accumulated points competition. Stroke Play 36 holes to rank and select 8 teams to play in the final round. The final round will be a Match Play competition, taking place over 2 days, dividing the competition into 2 divisions, 18 holes each, with 2 pairs of teams per team, 1 pair of Foursomes and 1 pair of Four-Ball, with the winning team. in various ranks Will receive a scholarship with an honorary award.

The first qualifying round of the “Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2024” competition will be on 6-7 April 2024. There are 10 universities participating in the competition, namely Sripatum University, Assumption University, Thammasat University, Chulalongkorn. Universities, Silpakorn University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Rangsit University, Mahidol University, Kasetsart University and Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy

After the competition in the first qualifying round, it appeared that the “Sripatum University Team” won the championship as expected, while the “Thammasat University Team” was certified as champion and the “Chulalongkorn University Team” finished 3rd in the first qualifying round.

Number 1 Sripatum University Under the team control of Pro Chamlong Namuang, the athletes were able to achieve their goal of winning their first field championship. With a team score of 440 (223-217), this year they sent a new generation of talented players like Prompoj Songklod who scored the best, finishing the first two rounds under par 143 (71-72), Parinyaporn Rungra. V score 2 over par 146 (75-71), Chanin Thongpaichit score 7 over par 151 (77-74) and Kritsada Lekruangsin score 18 over par 162 (80-82).

2nd place, Thammasat University, won the runner-up championship under the leadership of Supawich Songklod, who scored the best score in the team in the first two rounds, over par 145 (69-76), Sakranpat Mala score 5, over par 149 (77-72). Third, Chakri Rojanasmit scored 17 over par 161 (82-79) and Jirapat Prasertkul scored 18 over par 162 (83-79), total team score 455 (228-227).

3rd place: Chulalongkorn University, led by Kanpasut Wongsakunwiwat, score 12 over par 156 (75-81), Techin Wichainarong score 13 over par 157 (78-79), Juthamat Krittiyanarue Wat scored 13 over par 157 (78-79) and Phuchis Ngaokaew scored 19 over par 163 (87-76). Total team score 465 (231-234).

1st place, Sripatum University team, total score 440 (223-217), cumulative score 100 points

2nd place, Thammasat University team, total score 455 (228-227), cumulative score 80 points

3rd place, Chulalongkorn University team, total score 465 (231-234), cumulative score 70 points

4th place: Assumption University, total score 471 (235-236), cumulative score 60 points

5th place, Silpakorn University team, total score 473 (231-242), cumulative score 50 points

6th place, Kasetsart University team, total score 475 (236-239), cumulative score 45 points

7th place: Rangsit University team, total score 492 (241-251), cumulative score 40 points

8th place, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok team, total score 503 (250-253), cumulative score 35 points

9th place, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy team, total score 519 (274-245), cumulative score 30 points
