State of SP offers more than 120,000 courses for the job market

The Secretariat for Economic Development launched this Wednesday (29) the Qualifica SP Program, an initiative of the Government of São Paulo that will offer more than 120,000 vacancies for qualification courses in the area of ​​information technology, with exclusive vacancies for women and PwDs .

In addition, at the end of the course, those who graduate will have the opportunity to apply for jobs and internships at partner companies. Registration is now open. To enroll, simply access the website Desenvolvimentoeconomico.sp.gov.br/programas/qualificasp/.

One of the objectives of the action is to train specialized labor in areas where there is a shortage of professionals, as in the case of IT, for example. According to a report by the Association of Information and Communication Technology and Digital Technologies Companies (Brasscom), by 2025 more than 540,000 new workers will be needed in the country.

For this first phase, the courses will be held through partnerships with three important companies in the segment: ADA Tech, which made 60,000 places available in the courses “Software developer jr. and Softskills”; Impacta, with 60,000 vacancies in “data engineering” and “backend developer”; and Softex, with 3,000 “full stack developer and mobile developer” jobs.

In all, there will be 7,000 exclusive vacancies for PwDs, 58,000 for women and 58,000 for men. Within this framework, the black public will have priority.

How to participate

Qualifica SP’s target audience varies according to the designation of each partner company. In the case of ADA Tech, the course is aimed at public high school students aged up to 21 years.

Impacta requires students to be in their last school year or to have finished high school, and Softex seeks students who are completing technical or higher education and professionals, unemployed or not, who work or would like to work in the field of YOU. All courses will be held remotely.
