The King of Bahrain receives the President of the Arabian Gulf University

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, praised the vital and prominent role played by the Arabian Gulf University, which is considered one of the distinguished scientific and civilizational edifices and embodies joint and fruitful cooperation between the sisterly Arab Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
This came during his reception at Sakhir Palace, Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of the Arabian Gulf University, on the occasion of his appointment as President of the Arabian Gulf University.
King Hamad welcomed the President of the Arabian Gulf University, wishing him continued success in continuing the university’s pioneering journey and advancing its programs, curricula and scientific specializations.
He praised the valuable scientific and research contributions of the university, praising the important achievements and successes it has achieved throughout its long career in all medical, academic and scientific research fields and the distinguished position it enjoys among various prestigious Arab and international universities.
He recalled the efforts of the former President of the Arabian Gulf University, Dr. Khaled Abdul Rahman Al-Ohali, may God have mercy on him, and the role he played in serving this ancient university.
King Hamad affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain will continue its support and assistance to the university due to its confidence that this great academic educational edifice has been able to produce generations who have contributed, with their knowledge and qualifications, to the progress and prosperity of the sisterly Gulf countries and to enhancing their developmental renaissance in all scientific fields and specializations.
For his part, the President of the Arabian Gulf University expressed his sincere thanks and great appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty the King for the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its continued support for the university to achieve its goals and academic mission, praising the Kingdom’s embrace of the university’s headquarters since its founding and the appropriate atmosphere it has created for the success of its work.
