They apply ecological pavement created by a lagoon entrepreneur in the streets of Torreón

The young man from La Laguna Israel Antonio Briseño Carmona received an opportunity with the Municipality, through a contract to apply his ecological paving in some streets of the Magdalenas neighborhood, and it is not ruled out offering him more work, since the results have been very positive in terms of the regeneration of the material.

Roberto Escalante González, director of the Comprehensive Road Maintenance System (SIMV), reported that the young entrepreneur obtained the contract DGSIMB-ADOP-003-2022, for an investment of 398 thousand 750 pesos and a goal of 1,250 square meterswhich concluded with a physical advance of 100 percent in the experimental patching in different parts of the municipality, with self-healing hydrophilic flexible folder.

Briseño is the creator of “Paflec”, Flexible Pavement Capable of Regenerating, a material made from recycled tires, and “Agrex”, Regenerative Water for asphalt mixes; His work was applied in streets like Río Volga and Río Conchos, among others.

The director of the SIMV explained that the young man was sought after knowing for some years about the awards and recognitions that he obtained nationally and internationally, but that at the local level he had not had much opportunity to apply his workalthough I had already tried it on the streets of Chihuahua.

“We started with a little, supervised by the patching area, it became experimental because it was the first time that it went from theoretical to practical, its first potholes were cleared, when the first rain came the material behaved well, the material regenerates, He did a good job, We also recommend him with the Public Works area so that he can be supported, because he is a young entrepreneur in the region“, he commented.

Escalante indicated that the condition in the laboratory is very different than in real life, where there is traffic, variable temperatures, qualities, materials and other factors that intervene. but he considered that the result was very positive and that he could be given more work this year.
