Volcano. The Shravan Ashtami Navratri fair will be organized with full enthusiasm from August 17 to August 25 at the famous Shaktipeeth Maa Jwalaji Temple. Assistant Commissioner Temple and SDM Jwalamukhi Dr. Sanjeev Sharma gave this information in the meeting of temple trust organized regarding preparations for the fair in the presence of MLA Jwalamukhi Sanjay Ratna. In the meeting, MLA Sanjay Ratna said that Jwalamukhi is a world-famous religious place, and being the center of faith of devotees from India and abroad, devotees come here in large numbers every Navratri. He said that all the departments should start preparations from now itself to make all possible arrangements available to the devotees during the Navratri fair.
While conducting the meeting, Assistant Commissioner Temple and SDM Jwalamukhi Dr. Sanjeev Sharma said that the administration will make all possible arrangements for the devotees. He said that there will be a complete ban on weapons in the area as part of the security arrangement. He said that during this time all the departments and the visiting devotees should take special care of cleanliness and their valuables and should not do any kind of negligence.
He instructed the officials concerned to ensure better arrangements for cleanliness and availability of clean drinking water during the fairs and to provide necessary facilities at all places during the fairs. He directed the officers of Jal Shakt Department to ensure cleanliness of drinking water sources and chlorification of all sources. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on arms and explosives in the area during this period.
He said that the concerned departments of police, health, public works, water power, transport, electricity, etc. should be ready to provide all possible help and facilities to the devotees. He also instructed the health department officials to ensure availability of all essential medicines in the temple premises during the fair. He said that there will be a complete ban on beating of drums and giving alms on the temple road. Sanjeev Sharma said that streamlining the arrangements would be his priority.
