AKP gathered to evaluate the defeat! First statement from Ömer Çelik after the MYK meeting

AKP Spokesperson and Deputy Chairman Ömer Çelik made a statement after his party’s Central Executive Committee meeting. Highlights from AKP’s Ömer Çelik’s speech are as follows:

“WE CONGRATULATE EVERYONE ELECTED”

“We are holding our first meeting after the elections. We gathered with a single agenda. Evaluation of the election process. The election took place within the framework that suits our democracy. Everyone made a great contribution. The most important thank you goes to our citizens. There are those who worked very hard in this process. We thank each member of the organization. President Alliance organizations worked side by side in good cooperation. This is how we have completed an important election process. We congratulate everyone who was elected and wish them success in their duties.

“THE ELEMENT THAT RULES TURKEY IS DEMOCRACY, THE BALLOT BALLOT”

The element that governs Turkey is democracy and the ballot box. Our democracy has once again gained strength and taken root. Our nation was the winner. The registrar of politics is our citizens. Our citizens gave their warnings through the ballot box. We will read the messages about our party from the March 31 elections. The March 31 elections are a turning point in terms of the politics we will follow. We appeared before the nation 18 times. We express our gratitude for the kindness shown. We will do our best to be worthy of this trust. There are places where the result we do not desire occurs. We will consider it in all its dimensions. As the AK Party and the People’s Alliance, we have a political understanding that only listens to the voice of the nation. Our nation has made warnings and criticisms. It is our duty to consider and evaluate this message in all its dimensions. We continue our efforts to evaluate our nation’s warning.

“THE MESSAGE GIVEN BY THE NATION IS AN ATTITUDE WE RESPECT”

We continue these studies knowing that the only authority that will give us grades is the citizen. The right to object and criticize belongs to the nation, the institution that should listen is the political institution. We will discuss the picture presented by our nation. Undoubtedly, the message given by the nation through the ballot box is an attitude that we respect. All capillaries will be evaluated. We will continue to give importance to protecting our democracy and giving power to the ballot box from now on. Messages will be evaluated correctly.

“THE NEW CONSTITUTION IS OUR DEBT TO FUTURE GENERATIONS”

We are grateful for the support and criticism of the nation. General and local elections have been completed and Türkiye has completed the election process. We don’t have an election for more than 4.5 years. We will try to make the most of this time. We will continue effective politics to bring Turkey to better positions. Reforms will be made to correct the flaws in the system. We follow regional and global developments closely. We will take stronger steps in domestic and foreign policy. The new constitution is our debt to future generations. The issue of fighting terrorism will be the main agenda.

EARLY ELECTION CALLS

No congress process or anything else was discussed. It is an MYK focused on the election process. An evaluation of the results is MYK. These calls have no logic. The general election took place. Our President has a 5-year authority. This election is a local election.
