DENPASAR, BALIPOST.com – To serve workers who make complaints regarding THR payments for Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah, the Bali Province Manpower and Mineral Resources Energy and Mineral Resources Service has prepared a post for complaints about religious holiday allowances (THR).
“Posts have been prepared in the provincial and district/city governments,” said Head of the Bali Province Manpower and Energy and Mineral Resources Office, Ida Bagus Setiawan in Denpasar, as quoted by the Antara news agency, Monday (25/3).
According to Setiawan, in previous years there were a number of complaints from workers submitted to the complaints post but the number was not large. “There are those who have not been able to disburse it and then through mediation they can finally disburse it,” he said.
Apart from opening a THR complaints post, his party also socialized a circular letter from the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) regarding the Implementation of Providing 2024 Religious Holiday Allowances for Workers/Labourers in Companies. “We have continued to carry out SE outreach,” added Setiawan.
Previously, Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah had issued Circular Letter (SE) Number M/2/HK.04/III/2024 concerning the Implementation of Providing 2024 Religious Holiday Allowances for Workers/Labourers in Companies.
The SE, which Ida signed on March 15 2024, was addressed to governors throughout Indonesia.
In her press statement, Ida emphasized that giving religious THR is an obligation that must be carried out by employers towards workers or laborers. Religious THR must be paid in full and no later than seven days before the religious holiday.
“Once again I reiterate that THR must be paid in full and cannot be paid in installments. “I ask companies to pay attention and comply with these provisions,” said Ida.
Meanwhile, the Acting Governor of Bali, Sang Made Mahendra Jaya, said that regarding the policy of providing THR for ASN staff in the Bali Provincial Government, his party had followed up by issuing a governor’s decision. “It has been planned and a budget has been prepared. “Astungkara (with God’s permission) can be realized immediately,” said Mahendra Jaya.
Meanwhile, contract or non-ASN workers within the Bali Provincial Government will receive a religious THR of IDR 1 million.
This refers to the Bali Province Regional Secretary’s Circular Letter No. 1771 of 2024 concerning Providing 2024 Holiday Allowances for Non-ASN (Contract Workers) within the Bali Provincial Government dated March 18 2024. (Kmb/Balipost)
