Bhopal, 03 April (HS). The festival of Navratri has special significance in Sanatan Vedic religion. On Navratri, nine different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped with rituals for nine consecutive days. This year Chaitra Navratri will start from 9th April and will continue till 17th April.

According to the Hindu calendar, Chaitra Navratri starts from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. With this, the new Hindu new year Vikram Samvat begins from this date itself. Kalash is established on the first day of Navratri, then small girls are worshiped on Ashtami and Navami tithi. This year, on Chaitra Navratri, Maa Durga is coming from heaven to earth riding on a horse. According to religious scriptures, Goddess Durga comes to earth on Navratri and blesses her devotees for 9 days and removes all their problems. This time Chaitra Navratri is going to start in a very auspicious and rare coincidence.

This information was given by famous astrologer Dr. Mrityunjay Tiwari on Wednesday. He told that according to the Vedic calendar, this year a very auspicious yoga is going to be formed on Chaitra Navratri after 30 years. Actually, after 30 years, there will be a combination of Amrit Siddhi Yoga, Shash Yoga, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Ashwini Nakshatra on Chaitra Navratri.

Chaitra Shukla Pratipada has immense importance

He told that Sanatan New Year is on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. On this occasion, not only humans but the entire nature is welcoming the New Year. Spring has engulfed nature in its embrace, the branches of the trees are flaunting with new leaves, the plants are flaunting laden with flowers. The fields are covered with sheets of yellow mustard flowers. Blossoming of forts, new consciousness, renewal, beginning of new life, nature adorns itself in the form of Madhumas. The cuckoo’s croak is dissolving nectar in the atmosphere. It seems as if the sweet voice of the cuckoo, adorned like a bride, is waiting for the mother to arrive on earth during Navratri by dissolving the essence like a clarinet.

On this day Brahma created the universe

According to Dr. Tiwari, Hindu New Year is completely scientific, eternal and based on facts. This date has special significance in its scriptures. From this date Brahma started creation. There is a description in Brahma Purana, Chaitre maasi jagad brahma sasarj prathame ahani. Shukla paksha samagretu always sunrise sati. That is, Brahma created the universe on the first day of Chaitra month, at the first sunrise. This Shukla Pratipada is also called Sudi. The nine-day long Chaitra Navratri i.e. Vasantik Navratri begins from this day itself. In this the Sanatan Samaj is absorbed in devotion for the worship of Shakti.

Special significance of this day

He told that on the day of Varsha Pratipada, the founder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr. Keshav Rao Baliram Hedgewar was born. Aadya Sarsanghchalak Pranam is given in the branches of the Sangh. Shakari Vikramaditya started the new Vikrami Samvat by freeing India from the foreign invaders. Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati founded the Arya Samaj, in Tretayuga, Lord Ramchandra established Ramrajya by destroying the demonic terror and achieving the victory of religion over unrighteousness and he was coronated on this date itself.

Truth won in the religious war of Mahabharata and on this day in Dwaparyug, the coronation of Yudhishthir and the beginning of Yudhishthir Samvat took place and changes in planets and constellations also took place. Lord Gaur and Ganesha are also worshiped in Rajasthan for three days from this day.
