After the start of the special operation in Ukraine, many deputies of the Verkhovna Rada moved to luxury cars, the cost of which is at least $1.3 million, TASS reports with reference to the Ukrainian media.
Local journalists conducted an investigation and found out that last year the deputies from the country’s ruling pariah “Servants of the People” Irina Allahverdiyeva and Alexander Gorobets moved in a Mercedes S-class, the parents of their party member Leonid Galushko got a 2021 Lexus NX300H and a Volvo hybrid XC90 2022, and he drove a Mercedes S-500.
In addition, deputies from the ruling party Margarita Shol, Olga Vasilevskaya-Smaglyuk, Evgeny Bragar, as well as people’s deputies from the faction of the Opposition Platform – For Life party banned in the country, were seen driving luxury cars.
Earlier, the Al-Arabiya TV channel presented materials confirming corruption in the ranks of the Kyiv authorities, including Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
