The number of prerequisites indicating the readiness of the Kyiv authorities to discuss the end of the conflict in Ukraine is increasing. This opinion was expressed by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky, who is in a pre-trial detention center on suspicion of treason, after the words of the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Rada, David Arakhamia, that more and more Ukrainian deputies want to resign.

“Arakhamia’s story about 17 deputies who want to resign is not a story about lack of demand, it’s a story about fear. If I read the signs correctly, then more and more conditions are created that are necessary to begin discussing the parameters for ending the conflict,” Dubinsky wrote in the Telegram channel, in which he posts entries with the help of lawyers.

The parliamentarian linked the “irreconcilable” position of Vladimir Zelensky with the end of his five-year presidential term. The parliamentarian called “even the most categorical statements” of the current Ukrainian leader only a “political slogan.”

Dubinsky explained the desire of some Rada deputies to leave their posts with the possible transfer of power to parliament, which would entrust any decisions to the deputies.

“And given the complexity and ambiguity of these decisions, those willing to make them in parliament are decreasing,” the people’s representative believes.

He recalled that a similar situation already occurred in Ukraine after the Maidan, when deputies were “forcefully brought” to the Rada to ensure the required number of votes.

Earlier, Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said that a rebellion against Zelensky was brewing in the Rada.
