Guidelines for supporting value chains in the province should be developed

He added: In the field of economy, we need a culture of basic knowledge and trust and belief in young people, because when youth, science and experience come together, the speed of progress will increase.

Emphasizing on the use of the capacity of knowledge-based companies, Rahmati said: One of the indicators used in the province to measure the progress and performance of devices is the rate of use of knowledge-based companies and how many knowledge-based companies work with them. we do.

He emphasized: An index should be defined for all institutions in charge of economic growth in the province for use and cooperation with knowledge-based companies, because if we really want to do the work, we must have an index.

Rahmati added: The jump in production is not possible without paying attention to knowledge-based companies and people’s side, and if we want to fulfill the slogan of the year, we must pay attention to this important issue.

The Governor of East Azerbaijan stated that in prioritizing value chains, two types of common and scientific views can be taken into consideration, and said: Some of the definitions we use will be removed from the scientific view, and it may be due to the nature of some industries. , the scientific definition of the value chain does not exist in some of them.

Rahmati emphasized: Value chains and their examples should be prepared by the general managers of organizations, the private sector, and the Chamber of Commerce, and we are all obliged to have a scientific view in this field.

The governor of East Azerbaijan added: “The 10 selected sectors of the province’s value chain will no longer be examples, and the issue is that these 10 sectors should be prioritized for cooperation with knowledge-based companies.”

Rahmati said: All the support and benefits of the province will be focused on value chains and the provision of production facilities, employment, tax discounts, etc. will be allocated to these chains.

The governor of East Azarbaijan criticized the sale of raw materials in various industries and stated: In various industries such as leather and copper, the sale of raw materials and the export of raw materials should be stopped and we should create added value for the province with various products in these areas.

In the end, he said: Regulations and guidelines for the support of value chains should be prepared and compiled by summarizing the different institutions of the province to be used as a road map.

The Deputy Coordinator of East Azerbaijan Economic Affairs also said in this meeting: “The value chain is one of the important and emphasized issues of the Ministry of Interior, and the Minister of Interior is following this issue.”

Mohammad Kalami added: The value chain is one of the criteria for evaluating the performance of the province, and the selected sectors of the province will be prioritized in the payment of production and employment facilities, as noted in Note 18.

He continued: One of the goals of holding the knowledge-based economy and value chain meetings is to guide investors towards investors in fields that add value to the province.

Akram Akbari, the secretary and leader of the province’s strategic value chain development project, also said: The purpose of the value chains is to identify the missing links of these chains and also to cooperate with executive bodies to make them operational.
