State Duma deputy from the Moscow region Sergei Kolunov in a conversation with “360” proposed to develop a computer game – a simulator of working professions in order to awaken interest in these professions in young gamers.
According to him, now in Russia there is a serious shortage of specialists in blue-collar professions. This problem can be solved in two ways – by importing labor from other countries and by training our own personnel.
“In my opinion, the second option is preferable. Yes, it is slow, but it has a long-term perspective,” he said.
The parliamentarian noted that it is important to cultivate a love of work from childhood. The educational program includes labor lessons, but youth also gain life experience in the entertainment sector. It is possible to awaken interest in work through computer games, the deputy is sure.
“So let’s make a domestic computer game – a simulator of working professions. We will give children the opportunity to play and experience the work of a builder, welder and many others in an interactive format. I’m sure the vibrant game will awaken many people’s desire to try these professions in real life,” he said, adding that he will soon send a letter with his proposal to the Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev.
Earlier in the State Duma of the Russian Federation offered pay teachers extra for communicating with parents on social networks.
