Dawid Kubacki takes fourth place after the first series of the competition on the ski jumping hill in Hinzenbach (HS90). Four Poles will make the second jump. Apart from Kubacki, these will be Piotr Żyła (10), Kacper Juroszek and Paweł Wąsek (29). The driver is German Andreas Wellinger. Stefan Kraft won the qualification for the first competition in Austria.

This weekend, on the Austrian ski jumping hill in Hinzenbach (HS90), ski jumpers are fighting for further points in the Summer Grand Prix. Qualifications and the first competition took place on Saturday. The starting list included the most eminent experts in this discipline. The Polish team included, among others: defending champion from 2022 and world champion from 2019 Dawid Kubacki or the current world champion Piotr Żyła. The titled Poles were supported by their compatriots Kacper Juroszek, Paweł Wasek and fourth in the general classification Aleksander Zniszczoł. The coach of the Polish national team Thomas Thurnbichler he could not use the infected Kamil Stoch.
Other coaches also focused on their brightest players. The Japanese Olympic champion was also present in Austria Ryoyu Kobayashi. Stars such as the team world champion jumped in Slovenia Anże Lanisek or individual world champion Timi Zajc. Stefan Kraft won Saturday’s qualification for the Saturday competition in Hinzenbach. On Aigner Schainze he jumped 91 meters. Second place went to Wellinger, who is back in good shape, and third to 38-year-old Fettner. Dawid Kubacki was classified the highest among Poles – 9th. The leader of LGP, Zografski, suffered a fall and did not qualify for the competition.
