REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YOGYAKARTA — The Muhammadiyah Central Leadership (PP) appealed to election participants to be patient while waiting for the official results of the 2024 election vote count. Election participants and their supporters are advised not to simply draw conclusions from the results of the quick count (quick count) vote acquisition.
Election participants can first wait for the official vote count results from the General Election Commission (KPU). “We urge all parties, especially political parties and legislative candidates, as well as presidential and vice presidential candidates and their supporters, to be patient in waiting for the final election results which will be officially announced by the KPU,” said General Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir, in his statement , Wednesday (14/2/2024).
Haedar appealed to all parties not to rush to draw conclusions based on the election results quick count submitted by survey institutions. He also hopes that the situation remains conducive after the voting and that all parties maintain an attitude of mutual respect.
“The winning presidential and vice presidential candidate pair, and their supporters, should not be overly excited or euphoric. “Those who lose should have a big heart and be relieved to accept the election results,” said Haedar.
Haedar prays that Allah will give mercy and help to the Indonesian nation, so that it remains united, sovereign and advanced.
