The Polish Ski Association announced the composition of the A and B teams of ski jumpers and snowboarders for the 2023-24 season. There are a total of 26 athletes on the list.
The selected group included 15 ski jumpers and eleven competitors specializing in the alpine snowboard competition.
The A team of ski jumpers for the next season consists of six people. In addition to three stars (Kamil Stoch, Piotr Żyła, Dawid Kubacki) and a competitor who regularly went to the World Cup competitions last season (Paweł Wąsek), the chosen ones also included Aleksander Zniszczoł, who presented himself well in March competitions, as well as the youngest among this group, almost 22-year-old Kacper Juroszek.
Compared to the previous season, there were minor adjustments – Jakub Wolny dropped out of the group of the best (he was in the B team), but Zniszczoł and Juroszek joined it. Andrzej Stękała, Jan Habdas and Tomasz Pilch remained in the B team. Klemens Murańka and Adam Niżnik joined this group.
The last, three-person group (the so-called base group) consists of Maciej Kot, Jarosław Krzak and Szymon Jojko.
PZN also announced the cadres of snowboarders specializing in alpine competitions. There were five players in the most important one: Oskar Kwiatkowski, Michał Nowaczyk, Aleksandra Król, Maria Chyc and Olimpia Kwiatkowska. The national team B will be made up of Weronika Dawidek, Olga Kaciczak, Sonia Zapała, Andrzej Gąsienica-Daniel, Maciej Mikołajczyk and Mikołaj Rutkowski.
The coaches of the jumpers are Thomas Thurnbichler (team A) and David Jiroutek (team B), while the guardians of snowboarders are Oskar Bom (team A) and Paweł Dawidek (team B).
