Regent Giri Prasta Attends Uleman Karya Dang Kahyangan Temple in Camusen

MANGUPURA, BALIPOST.com – Badung Regent I Nyoman Giri Prasta, Monday (8/4) attended Uleman Karya Mamungkah, Mupuk Pedagingan, Tawur Labuh Gentuh, Mapedudusan Agung and Menawa Ratna at the Dang Kahyangan Dalem Camusen Temple, Blangsinga Traditional Village, Gianyar Regency. As a form of Ngastiti Bhakti to Ida Betara, Regent Giri Prasta personally provided funds amounting to IDR 50 million.

On this occasion, the Regent of Giri Prasta was also given a paica in the form of a keris which was handed over directly by Ida Pedanda Istri Manuaba. The culmination of the work ceremony which was hosted by Ida Peranda Gede Manuaba from Griya Manuaba Blangsinga was also attended by the Head of Blahbatuh Subdistrict I Wayan Gede Eka Putra, Tripika Blahbatuh, the Head of Saba Village Ketut Redhana, the Head of Blangsinga Traditional Village I Wayan Murtika, the Blangsinga Community Leader Ajik Kresna.

Regent Giri Prasta expressed his gratitude to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa and Ida Bhatara-Bhatari who reside at the Dang Kahyangan Temple in Camusen. Moreover, he was able to attend directly at the Blangsinga Blahbatuh Traditional Village. Regent Giri Prasta also hopes that all krama pemmpon will be given safety and secrecy in carrying out the work pujawali ceremony.

In carrying out the Pujawali, Regent Giri Prasta said, the Puja was carried out by Sulinggih together with the Pemangku while the guardian was carried out by the welaka, there were Sekaa Gong, Pesantian, Topeng Sidakarya, Rejang dance and renteng which is what is meant by puja wali. “Today’s ceremony is not only for the good of the Blangsinga Traditional Village but it is also for the good of the archipelago,” he said.

It is hoped that the traditional village head/prawartaka Karya will make an inscription for this main ceremony as proof to future generations that they have carried out the ceremony at a major level. “Thank you to the manners of the Blangsinga Traditional Village for implementing and also preserving the religious, customary and cultural traditions that we love, Gianyar can progress with the progress of Gianyar without eroding the roots of our customs and culture,” he explained.
