Representative Sayed Shams al-Din warns: The continuation of the Gaza war will fuel conflicts in the region

Representative Sayed Shams El-Din, a member of the House of Representatives, said that the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, is making tremendous efforts to mediate a humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip and deliver aid to civilians.

Shams El-Din stressed the importance of Arab efforts and their unity to overcome the challenges to bring more aid into Gaza and stop the Israeli occupation of the Strip.

He touched on the Iranian bombing of Israel, mentioning that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has always warned of the consequences of the Gaza war on the security and stability of the region, and its effects in the short and long term.

He added that the effects of the war in Gaza have become a threat to the region, and its continuation will fuel conflicts, whether in the Red Sea, or on global navigation, as well as between the conflict countries.

He stressed the need to push aid further within the Gaza Strip, explaining that Cairo is making every effort to provide the necessary support to the brothers, and praising the “Galant Knight 3” operation, launched by the United Arab Emirates, as it is an epic led by the Emirates to provide relief to the Palestinians since the outbreak of the crisis last year, and has become with Egypt is at the forefront of the countries that moved to support the Palestinian people and stand by them in one of the most difficult circumstances for people here, as thousands of tons of aid are transported by land, sea and air.
