BBN/Kishore Thakur: In the state level (Women’s Championship Open) organized by Himachal Yogasana Association in Nalagarh, Sonia Gupta and Jashoda Devi of Kishore Yoga Academy Baddi captured the second position while Madhavi Choudhary got the third position in the women’s children’s category. Now these players will participate in the National Championship to be held in November which will be held on November 19 in Guwahati, Assam. While giving information, National Coach Raman Acharya said that Yoga has now become a part of International Games and many players have won Nationals and played Asian Games and many students have made very good careers by running Yoga centers in foreign countries. He told that Yoga has immense potential not only in sports but also in the field of education and medicine and the biggest thing is that today Yoga has reached every home, hence there is no need for anyone to find a job, rather people are looking for Yogacharyas and their Along with health at home, good economy is also getting strengthened.
State President of Himachal Yogasana Association, Mahendra Acharya, while congratulating all the toppers, said that whenever we play sports, we should never think that our number did not come but we should resolve to work harder for the next time.
State President of Laghu Udyog Bharti Harbans Patyal and his wife Shakuntala Patyal, who arrived as chief guests at the closing ceremony of the program, honored all the participants by giving them medals and citations. Harbans Patyal congratulated the organizing team, wishing everyone a bright future. He said that it is a matter of great pride for India that today, due to the vision of the Prime Minister of the country, the entire world is adopting India’s heritage Yoga and making their body and mind healthy.
Director of Kishore Yoga Academy, Dr. Kishore Thakur congratulated the academy’s trainees Sonia Gupta, Jashoda Devi and Madhavi Chaudhary for securing second and third position and welcomed them with a garland on reaching the academy. He called upon all women to join yoga. He said that most of the women are joining yoga due to illness, whereas if a healthy woman does yoga every day, then her working capacity increases manifold and she remains protected from diseases forever and always keeps herself healthy, fit and Keeps you energetic.
