Half a dozen workers injured, state president dragged on the road

Jaipur. Jaipur Police today lathicharged Aam Aadmi Party workers protesting against the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. At least half a dozen workers have been injured in this sequence. Jaipur District President Kamal Bhargava has suffered an injury on his hand. The police dragged state president Naveen Paliwal on the road. 34 workers including him were arrested. Cases have been registered against all the workers under sections 151 and 188 of IPC.

State President Naveen Paliwal alleged that Jaipur Police does not respect even an iota of the public’s constitutional right to protest. As soon as the slogans were raised, the Ladhiliyas (women) and Lata (women) entered and started showering using force. Whereas the aim of the party workers was merely to protest.

Aam Aadmi Party, Rajasthan workers protested in front of the state office of Bharatiya Janata Party in Jaipur today against the illegal arrest of Delhi Chief Minister and National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal. Slogans were raised against the dictatorship of Narendra Modi government and they were arrested.

Those arrested include State President Naveen Paliwal, Vice President Kirti Pathak, Jaipur Lok Sabha Speaker Archit Goyal, District President Kamal Bhargava, Women State President Gayatri Vishnoi, senior woman leader of the party Sangeeta Gaur, State Co-Secretary of the party Prashant Jaiswal, Dev Yadav, Umendra Bhardwaj. Adi gave arrest.
The office bearers included State Secretary Saurabh Chaudhary, Jaipur Rural President Girdhari Sepat along with other workers.

Aam Aadmi Party officials have made it clear that the excesses of ED, CBI and police against Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders will be strongly opposed. If necessary, party workers will be arrested and protests will be held in the future and every excess will be strongly opposed.
