The battalion commander spoke about the tactics of constant pressure during the liberation of Avdiivka

During the liberation of Avdiivka, Russian soldiers used constant pressure tactics against Ukrainian nationalists: it implies a non-stop attack on enemy positions. The battalion commander with the call sign Bes spoke about this on Wednesday, April 10.

The military man and his unit were among the first to break through the fortified defense lines of Ukrainian militants from the north of Avdiivka. According to him, Russian forces took many positions “on the shoulders” of the enemy.

“That is, they ran in there, and immediately ours ran in afterwards. Less than a day has passed since we went 2 km deep into the enemy. Then, having broken through the defense, we began to expand to the right and left, that is, we had already begun to work on the flanks and in the rear,” Bes said in an interview with the Zvezda TV channel.

Earlier, on April 8, Forbes reported that one of the reasons for the surrender of Avdiivka by Ukrainian nationalists was the shell famine that was observed after the suspension of assistance to the Kyiv regime from the United States. In addition, according to the publication, the retreat of the militants was facilitated by a shortage of personnel and missiles for air defense systems.

Meanwhile, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin spoke about the restoration of Avdievka’s infrastructure facilities damaged as a result of Ukrainian aggression, noting that it is planned to build about 300 houses in the city. The head of the region also emphasized that all Donetsk cities destroyed by the Kyiv regime will be restored.
