The break ends on April 16! The agenda will be busy in the Parliament

The Turkish Grand National Assembly will enter into a busy working period at the end of the holiday. Important legislative proposals will be on the agenda on many issues, especially the economy, from tourism to energy, from judiciary to internal affairs.

The agenda of the Parliament General Assembly in April is the tourism and energy proposals previously accepted in the commissions. According to the energy proposal, natural gas produced domestically and imported from different sources can be liquefied in Turkey and marketed to world markets. Projects prepared to increase energy efficiency will be supported by 30 percent, not exceeding 15 million liras. Renewable energy production plants can be established in seas and lakes, except for drinking water areas, wetlands, coastlines and coastlines.

TOURIST GUIDE LAW IS CHANGING

The proposed law on tourism includes regulations regarding tourist guidance. Accordingly, candidates who meet the admission requirements for the profession will be able to become a Turkish tourist guide even if they do not have a foreign language proficiency certificate. If travel agencies send their customers to another business without their knowledge, their documents will be canceled and they will not be able to act as agencies for 5 years.

CRYPTO REGULATION IS ON THE WAY TO THE ASSEMBLY

The bill on crypto assets will also be presented to the Parliament. With the proposal consisting of approximately 30 articles, the legal definition of crypto assets will be made first. Rules to be followed by those who export, distribute and buy and sell assets will be determined.

HEAVY PENALTY FOR UNLICENSED WEAPONS

It is expected that the bill regarding the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is expected to contain approximately 30 articles, will be submitted to the Presidency of the Parliament in May. With the proposal, all parts of “automatic weapons”, which are called “grave weapons”, will now be subject to licensing. This will prevent these gun parts from being procured separately and then assembled. Penalties will also increase for unlicensed weapons.

9th JUDICIAL PACKAGE WILL COME TO THE PARLIAMENT

The 9th judicial package is planned to be on the agenda of the Parliament in May. The package will include regulations specifically aimed at breaking the perception of impunity.
