The Management of the NU Branch in Yogyakarta Welcomes the Maslahat Family Movement

NYANTRI–The Nahdlatul Ulama Maslahat Family Movement (GKMNU) received great appreciation from NU officials at the provincial and district/city levels. This movement is considered to be a way out of coherent work between various elements within the NU management from the central to the regional levels.
This was conveyed by the chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Board (PCNU) of Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Lukman Arifin Fathul Huda (Gus Lukman). According to him, GKMNU is a strategic step needed to solve the problem of coordination and uniformity of steps between management from top to bottom.
“GKMNU is a very good movement. Because so far, not all NU structures are evenly distributed and have the same capabilities. So that the existence of this Task Force can back us up to take care of NU below. With this Task Force, we will be helped to really work for the community,” said Gus Lukman in Yogyakarta in a press statement received Nyantri.republika.co.idFriday (9/6/2023).

He said the existence of the Task Force would fill the void that has been occurring between management at the district, sub-district and village levels. The Task Force is expected to be able to align these differences.
“For the problem of the program, we do not really understand the details. There will be a follow-up meeting to investigate. But we are committed to presenting the results of the talks here with MWC NU in Kulonprogo,” he said.

In this activity, the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) was represented by the Chairman of the GKMNU National Task Force (Kasatgas) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas (Gus Yaqut), PBNU Waketum H Amin Said Husni, PBNU Chairman Hj Alissa Wahid and H Ishfah Abidal Aziz, the three of whom were Deputy Head of the National Task Force. Apart from that, Nyai Ida Fatimah Zainal, Rais Syuriyah PWNU KH Masud Masduki, and other officials were also seen.
Overall, this socialization activity was attended by 60 participants consisting of NU Regional Management Leaders, NU Branch Managers and leaders of a number of autonomous bodies such as Ansor, Muslimat, Fatayat, IPNU and IPPNU throughout the Yogyakarta region, as well as leaders of the DIY PWNU Family Benefit Institute (LKK) .
