The Ministry of Manpower recorded temporary complaints at the THR command post reaching 1,187 cases

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) noted that from April 4 to 15.00 WIB until April 6 2024 there were 1,187 cases regarding the problem of paying holiday allowances (THR) submitted by the public through the Ministry of Manpower’s THR Command Post.
“Based on the latest data at 15.00 WIB, the number of complaints received was 1,187 cases,” said Director General of Employment Inspection Development, Occupational Safety and Health, Haiyani Rumondang, to journalists at the Ministry of Manpower Office, Jakarta, Sunday (7/4/2024).
He also said that of the 1,187 cases involving 725 companies that were complained about. Haiyani said the THR payment problems that were complained about included THR that was not envisioned by the company and THR payments that did not comply with the provisions set by the Ministry of Manpower.
He also said that of the total 1,187 cases received through the THR Command Post, 30 of them were being examined by the Ministry of Manpower.
Previously, the Ministry of Manpower had launched the 2024 THR Post as a place for complaints and consultations for workers or laborers regarding the provision of Eid al-Fitr holiday allowances (THR) this year.3
Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah said that his party had issued Menaker Circular Letter Number M/2/HK.04/III/2024 concerning the Implementation of Providing Religious Holiday Allowances in 2024 for Workers/Labourers in Companies, to support the implementation of giving THR this year .
“I announce that with the issuance of this SE, the Ministry of Manpower’s THR Command Post has been reopened,” he said.
The THR Command Post is intended to facilitate complaints from workers/laborers and companies regarding THR payments. The post can also act as a place for consultation regarding THR. Apart from being able to be visited directly at the Ministry of Manpower Office, the THR Command Post can also be accessed via the website poskothr.kemnaker.go.id.
