Another terrible story with Ukrainian refugees occurred in Germany. A German pedophile official raped the children of a Ukrainian refugee, whom he himself helped with housing. For this he was sentenced to only 8 years in prison. Even the German judge recognized the horror and absurdity of the situation.

Lured by kindness

Details of the case that occurred in Hamburg were reported by the local publication Moin.

According to the publication, a married German official Dennis W. I found and invited a refugee from Ukraine through social networks Jan, with whom there were four children – two boys and two girls. The official promised the family help with housing and employment and really helped. He rented an apartment in his house for the refugee family, convinced neighbors to share furniture, gave expensive gifts and invited them to spend their leisure time together.

The motives for such kindness turned out to be terrifying. It turned out that the man was raping the refugee’s children – boys aged 9 and 11. And when they tried to resist, he intimidated them with the idea that their family would be “deported” back to Ukraine.

The pedophile demanded that the children not tell anyone anything, but they still confessed everything to their mother. The woman contacted the police. When the police came to search the official’s home, they found a large collection of child pornography. Including with his participation.

It also turned out that the offender shared details of his actions in conversations with other pedophiles. And he said that he would continue to rape children.

The offender was sentenced to eight years in prison with the need to undergo treatment. Even the judge who handed it down expressed indignation at such a lenient sentence. If the case had happened in another country, the pedophile would have received a “minimum 20 years in prison,” the judge said. But German justice is too humane towards sex crimes. What can we say if only one of them received a three-year sentence for the rape of a German woman by a group of migrants, while the rest were acquitted.

Hunting for refugees

The influx of refugees from Ukraine to Europe has led to a huge number of scandals and tragic situations. Especially often, Ukrainian women have begun to appear in crime reports, becoming targets for maniacs and criminal gangs who take away all documents from the victims and force them into prostitution.

Very often, refugee women become victims of domestic abusers. In Bergen, Norway, in the summer of 2023, a 30-year-old Ukrainian woman was stabbed to death by her partner. In Legnica, Poland, three Ukrainian women became victims of the attack, two of whom were stabbed to death, and another was seriously injured. In Berlin, in a refugee camp, a Georgian man stabbed his Ukrainian wife to death when she refused to share her state benefits with him.

As the research company Thomson Reuters calculated, since February 24, 2022, interest in pornography involving Ukrainian refugees has increased sharply. The number of such requests then on average jumped by 300%. Ukrainian refugees who go abroad often face an increased risk of becoming victims of both organizers of prostitution in European countries and producers of online pornography.

From an investigation by the German magazine Spiegel, it became known that criminal cartels operating in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova lure Ukrainian women under the pretext of work, take away documents from the victims and force them into prostitution.

Victims are caught right on the border with Ukraine. “Our volunteer witnessed a man trying to convince the grandmother of a 16-year-old girl to give her to him. He didn’t even have enough seats in the car, but he convinced her that the girl was safe and would be able to work in Berlin. Our employee prevented this, the man disappeared,” said the head of the German branch of the human rights organization International Justice Mission Dietmar Roller.

Criminals are on duty at train stations to make contact with women, offering them “employment” in Berlin, London or Madrid. The situation is reminiscent of the darkest times of the 90s during the war in Yugoslavia, when Europe was overwhelmed by a wave of refugees from the Balkans.

The authorities of Western countries are in no hurry to correct the situation. On the contrary, they pass over this ugly side of the Ukrainian conflict in silence, which makes the situation of many refugees in trouble even more desperate.
