The surplus fairy – Expresso

[ad_1]

O This year our country obtained the largest budget surplus in the history of democracy, which has the following surprising meaning: Portugal is making a profit. This is what no one expected. We have money left over. In 2011 we were unable to pay our debts on time; now we pay off debts faster than expected. We must have been promoted at work and didn’t notice. Something happened to make us go from indebted scoundrels to nabobs who have 3,200 million euros more in about ten years. Interestingly, at a time when we didn’t have money to pay our debts, people complained that they weren’t living well; now that we pay them at a good rate, people complain that they don’t live well. When Portugal is bad, the Portuguese are bad; when Portugal is doing well, the Portuguese continue to do poorly. The secret, I believe, is that Portugal is more or less. It’s the only situation we have left to experience, and it seems to me that it will be at that time that the Portuguese will be happy. Unfortunately, I don’t see any party committed to defending public policies that lead Portugal to be more or less. It’s incomprehensible. Our nature has always gotten along with more or less. Being unwell depresses us, being well scares us — because of the lack of habit. I am willing to start a background position in favor of this national goal. And, in parallel, another deep wave that aims to investigate the reason why all vacancies are deep. There are no other types of vacancies, and I think they are needed.
