For the funeral prayer; Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) President Hidayet Türkoğlu, TBF Deputy President Ömer Onan, TBF board members, national basketball players, relatives of the Aydoğan family, Nilay Aydoğan’s friends as well as the deceased’s teammates attended.
After the funeral prayer, Nilay Aydoğan’s body was taken to Kasımpaşa Kulaksız Cemetery to be buried.
