Woman dies after falling from cliff in Sagres

A woman, aged 26, of German nationality, died this Monday, after falling from a cliff of around 40 meters, on Rebolinhos beach, in Sagres.
According to the captain of the Port of Lagos, Hugo da Guia, speaking to Lusa, “it was believed to be an accidental fall from a height of around 40 meters”.
The alert was given by a member of the public, at 1:30 pm.
As it was an area difficult to access by land, the body was rescued by sea using a boat from the Lifeguard Station to Porto da Baleeira, in Sagres, where the doctor from the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) confirmed the death. .
