According to Mr. Hoa, being recognized as a heritage tree in Sub-zone 21 and Sub-zone 27 of Bu Gia Map National Park forestry has helped many travel agencies have new routes and attractions.

Director of Bu Gia Map National Park Management Board said that in the forest there are many trees that meet the conditions and standards to carry out procedures for certification of Vietnamese heritage trees, but currently, only 39 trees have been recognized. The number of ancient trees certified as heritage trees is located near roads, convenient for tourists to visit. The number of tourists visiting Bu Gia Map National Park is increasing day by day, with an increase of more than 1,200 visitors in 2023 compared to 2022.

In the near future, Bu Gia Map National Park will continue to identify trees that meet the criteria to propose recognition as heritage trees.
