Bali Provincial Government Distributes Humanitarian Aid to Underprivileged Residents

DENPASAR, BALIPOST. com – The Bali Provincial Government (Pemprov) through the “Bali Provincial Government is Present” movement has directly distributed aid to underprivileged residents in Bali. Several underprivileged residents in several remote areas in Bali received Ngrombo assistance from Bali Provincial Government employees, some of which were distributed during holidays for Eid al-Fitr.

Some of the poor residents who received assistance included I Nyoman Meat, a resident of Banjar Wates Kaja, East Duda Village, Selat Karangasem District. Casual workers whose daily income is uncertain. It went viral on social media that Nyoman Bacon’s family needed help in the form of household equipment, such as mattresses, cupboards and kitchen utensils. Therefore, a group from BPBD Bali came to provide assistance that could be used to meet these needs

Next, Putu Widya Ardana and Kadek Jaya Artana, orphaned brothers from Br. The adat of Dukuh Bukit Ngandang, Penaban Village, Karangasem District received assistance with education costs from Inspectorate and BRIDA employees. Both of them are currently being raised by I Ketut Karang (grandfather) and Ni Nengah Sundi (grandmother) since their father died dozens of years ago and their mother remarried.

On Monday (8/4), Acting. Governor Mahendra Jaya immediately handed over house renovation assistance for the Ngrombo action from the Regional Revenue Agency of Bali Province to Ketut Yudi Astrawan, a resident of Banjar Dinas Bululada, Selat Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng. Apart from that, Putu Widana Yasa, a resident of Banjar Dinas Dangin Pura, Panji Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng, also received help from Ngrombo to renovate his house from the Satpol PP and the General Protocol Bureau.

Regional Secretary Dewa Made Indra also handed over aid from the Bali Province Communication and Information Service to Pekak Kontit (70) and Odah Kunter (66), residents of Br. Bantas Service, Baturinggit Village, which will be used to buy decent clothes, blankets, basic necessities, kitchen utensils and water storage (closed buckets) because they take water very far away. House renovation assistance was also provided to Wayan Buda, a resident of Banjar Dinas Beluhu Kangin, Tulamben Village, Kubu District, Karangasem with assistance from the PMA and Dislautkan Department.

On Monday (15/4), Regional Secretary Dewa Indra again handed over ‘Bali Provincial Government Present’ assistance from the Health Service, Bali Mandara Hospital, Bali Mandara Eye Hospital, Mental Hospital and the Bali Province Cooperative and SME Service. Among them is Pekak Nyoman Sayang which is located in Banjar Sukawana, Sukawana Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. Then Kadek Ginawan, a resident of Banjar Kuum, Sukawana Village, received assistance to repair his house because the house he lived in was unfit for habitation, made from woven bamboo with an asbestos roof that had holes in several parts. Apart from that, assistance was also provided with education costs for Kadek Ginawan’s two children as well as basic food assistance. Apart from that, a resident of Banjar Penaga, Landih Village, Ni Made Kayun, whose husband left her, received house renovation assistance as well as basic food assistance in the form of rice and education funds for her daughter who is still at school. Assistance is also provided in the form of health services in the form of providing vitamins, health checks and administering medication by the Health & Hospital Service which is under the auspices of the Bali Provincial Government.

The action ‘Bali Provincial Government is Present’ received positive appreciation from residents and local officials such as the village head and district head, including humanitarian volunteers.

“My resident is one of the residents registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). The jobs of both (husband and wife) are odd jobs. We would like to thank Mr Pj. The Governor has laid the first stone for house renovation assistance. “This assistance is very beneficial for our residents,” said Selat Village Head, Putu Mara.

The Regional Secretary of Bali Province, Dewa Made Indra, explained the importance of the government coming down to see firsthand the condition of the community.

“It is important for all of us to go down and visit underprivileged people who need attention, so that we all know that there are still many who need help,” said Dewa Made Indra.

According to Regional Secretary Dewa Indra, the ‘Bali Provincial Government is Present’ movement by providing humanitarian assistance to underprivileged citizens will continue, in the form of building livable houses, rehabilitating houses to make them more suitable, educational assistance to school children from underprivileged families and health service assistance.
