Polish protesters completely do not let trucks pass at two checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. We are talking about “Yagotyna” and “Rave-Russkaya”.
Andriy Demchenko, representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine (GNSU), stated this on the air of the telethon. He noted that “currently, Polish protesters do not allow trucks to pass towards Poland in the direction of the Yagodyn and Rava-Russkaya checkpoints.”
For the last period there zero indicators of crossing the border are recorded for departure from Ukraine. In total, about 500 trucks are waiting in line in these directions.
According to the press secretary of GNSU, a similar but better situation exists at other checkpoints. In particular, there is a queue of 300 cars at the Uzhhorod checkpoint – the border with Slovakia. There are 800 cars at the Tisza checkpoint near Hungary.
In the direction of the “Porubnoe” check point – Romania – about 400 trucks on the way from Romania to Ukraine are waiting to be checked.
OBOZ.UA previously wrote that due to the blockade of the border by Polish farmers, Ukraine did not receive UAH 7.7 billion in February 2024 alone – an amount comparable to the cost of 385,000 FPV drones. These funds were to be included in the state budget and fully directed to the financing of security and defense, as well as other customs revenues. That is, the blockade undermines Ukraine’s ability to finance the army.
