Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has directed the corps commanders not to allow terrorists to be active from any place.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, ISPR, the 264th Corps Commanders’ Conference was held under the chairmanship of Army Chief General Asim Munir.
On this occasion, the Army Chief instructed the commanders not to allow terrorists to be active from any place.
The Army Chief said that Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies have the support of the entire nation.
He said that the armed forces are committed to permanently eliminate the threat of terrorism from Pakistan.
The Corps Commanders Conference was informed during the briefing that the terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan are a threat to regional and global security. These terrorist groups are acting as proxies against Pakistan and its economic interests.
The forum was briefed and told that these terrorist groups are working as proxies against China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in particular.
Corps commanders expressed serious concern over the ongoing Indian aggression in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The forum said that Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic and moral support to its Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
The Corps Commanders’ Conference expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemned the grave human rights violations in Gaza.
The forum also condemned the war crimes and genocide in Gaza while expressing concern over the rising tensions in the Middle East. Commanders say that in the Middle East, if the parties do not immediately reduce the tension, a wider regional conflict may arise.
The Forum expressed concern over the malicious propaganda campaign to demoralize the armed forces.
