In a few months there will be progress in Saudi investment in Pakistan, Saudi Foreign Minister

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has said that in a few months there will be progress towards Saudi investment in Pakistan.

Faisal bin Farhan said in a press briefing in Islamabad along with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar that he is grateful for the excellent hospitality of the Saudi delegation in Pakistan, and strategic issues of both countries were discussed in today’s meetings.

He further said that he was very impressed by the investment opportunities in Pakistan. In the next few months, there will be progress towards Saudi investment in Pakistan.

The Saudi Foreign Minister also said that a detailed briefing has been given on SIFC, we have liked the new approach, which has given us confidence.

He said that the visit is the result of the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Saudi Crown Prince, he is visiting Pakistan on the instructions of Muhammad bin Salman.

Faisal bin Farhan said that there are opportunities to increase investment in Pakistan, we will work together for economic development and security of the region.

He said that we are optimistic about this visit, we will follow up on the constructive discussions held in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Foreign Minister said that he will play an active role in the development of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia was officially informed about ICFC.

Ishaq Dar said that the Saudi investors in Pakistan will provide complete security, he was very happy on the arrival of the Saudi delegation, such a high level Saudi delegation has come to Pakistan in 35 years.

He said that he is grateful to the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Pakistani government and people respect Saudi Arabia.

The foreign minister further said that he is grateful for the Saudi leadership’s interest in increasing investment in Pakistan, through the SIFC platform, Pakistan wants to increase investment.

He said that Pakistan wants to become the center of investment, Pakistan will provide full protection and support to Saudi investors.

Ishaq Dar also said that discussions have been held with the Saudi delegation on investment in IT, minerals, agriculture and other sectors.
