Canadian and Ukrainian chef of Colombian origin Hector Jimenez-Bravo openly communicated with worshipers.
On his Instagram page, he explained why he did not leave Ukraine during the full-scale invasion.
“Ukraine taught me patriotism. I didn’t know what it was before. I learned a lot about its history. Yes, I feel a lot of pain because of the war, but at the same time it made me stronger. I realized that nothing and will never prevent me from living here, the army helps here, and I am proud that I am here. I did not know that I would decide to return to Ukraine, I did not know that there would be no fear. I think we experience fear when we are afraid of death. But when the war started, I was no longer afraid to die,” Hector emphasized.

He added that his priorities changed during the war.
“I never thought that I would have to go through so many military trainings. I didn’t think that my priorities could change. I learned to value things better than before. We don’t need a lot of things for life. The basics are enough – food and a place , to sleep. Everything else is a luxury that we don’t really need,” wrote Jimenez-Bravo.
Earlier, Hector brought cars and drones to the front. He added that 57 drones were purchased with the collected money. He sent the rest to the “Return Alive” fund.
