Illa ignores Puigdemont and attacks the management of ERC and Junts at the start of the pre-campaign: “10 years later, Catalonia is behind Spain”

The leader of the PSC and number one of the party for the presidency of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, has ignored the candidacy of Carles Puigdemont and has chosen to harshly attack ERC and Junts for their management at the head of the Government throughout the last decade, coinciding with theprocs independence: “10 years later, Catalonia is behind Spain.”

A diagnosis based on the criticized management of the drought – “we are not prepared to face it” – on the poor educational results of the PISA report – “the worst in history” – and on the lack of infrastructure, such as expansion of the airport Barcelona.

In fact, Illa has avoided any direct reference to the flight or the approval of the amnesty in today’s municipalist PSC conclave and has limited himself to criticizing the independence movement for always wanting to put “the emphasis on differences.” A message with a marked electoral tone, in which he has committed to “achieving the unity of Catalans and public services” in the face of 12-M to project his candidacy for the presidency of the Generalitat in the midst of the confrontation between ERC and Junts.

Instead, the mayor of Barcelona, ​​Jaume Collboni, has exhibited a more belligerent tone and has charged harshly against Colau and against the independence movement. The socialist has accused her of “irresponsibility” by impeding the city’s budget, and of “making a tic-tac-toe” by not facilitating the approval of those of the Generalitat and, in turn, those of the State. Also, to carry out “a policy that is divisive and useless, destructive.”

Nor has he spared reproaches towards “the independence movement”, without directly citing Junts, ERC or the CUP, about which he has said that it seems that they want to “do a ‘remake’, to start over, like the film, and 2017”.

“They do not explain anything new, they do not contribute,” he considered, beyond “returning to the past of division, which has made us lose opportunities,” the mayor of Barcelona concluded.

Aragons: “Defend the interests of the PSOE barons and Ayuso”

The president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragons, has entered into the melee and criticized Illa this Saturday for, according to him, putting before the interests of the barons of the PSOE, the Moncloa and the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso , in the financing debate of Catalonia.
