Juan Manuel de Prada; star protagonist of the Lanzarote Literature Festival

Six talks by illustrious authors, on the Islote de Fermina; and two writing workshops will be the main activities of the second edition of the Lanzarote Literature Festival, with support from various areas of the Cabildo. Karina Sainz Borgo will be the first protagonist, on April 25; while Juan Manuel de Prada, on November 20, will offer the farewell talk.
Along with the two mentioned, the presence of Paulina Flores, on May 23; Alberto Olmos, on June 21; Marta Jiménez Serrano, on September 26; and Álvaro Colomer, on October 31. All of them have important awards under their professional belt.
To be a participant in each of the talks, weeks before each activity, a reservation period for places will be opened, between 75 and 95 per appointment, through www.fdll.es; It was said in the presentation this past Tuesday, with the advisors Jesús Machín Tavío and Ascensión Toledo, in the company of Carlos Battaglini, who serves as director of the Festival.
As for the two workshops, one will be taught by the Ecuadorian journalist Natalia García Freire and will deal with ‘How to write the landscape?’, September 12; while the other, on October 17, will be given by the Gran Canarian writer Carlos Ortega Vilaswho will focus the activity on ‘How to write a novel?’. Also here registrations will be viable through the web. Each activity will have a capacity of between 10 to 15 participants.
