In Israel, in anticipation of an attack from Iran, a number of restrictions were introduced to ensure the safety of the population. Thus, educational activities were banned across the country and gatherings were limited to 1,000 people.
These restrictions will be in effect until 11:00 p.m. Monday, April 15. This was announced by the representative of the Israel Defense Forces, Daniel Hagari, reports The Times of Israel, noting that the restrictions also apply to school excursions and camps.
He added that in some areas, for example, near the border with the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, stricter restrictions on mass gatherings are already in place due to the threat of an attack by Iran.
Hagari assured that Israel’s air defense is in a state of readiness, dozens of planes in the sky are also ready to repel the attack.
It also became known that Defense Minister Yoav Galant is holding a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the IDF, Lieutenant General Hertsa Haleva, and other officials against the background of an expected attack by Iran.
As reported by OBOZ.UA:
– Iran has made it clear to its allies, as well as Western countries, that after the (allegedly Israeli) attack on the building of its consulate in Damascus, it will respond to Israel in a “verified” manner. Tehran’s actions will allegedly be such “to contain a full-scale regional conflict.”
– The Iranian army seized a ship connected to Israel near the Strait of Hormuz, which was sailing under the Portuguese flag. The special forces of the Navy of the Guards Corps of the Islamic Revolution landed on the MCS Aries container ship with 25 crew members.
