Abolfazl Abu Tarabi, the representative of the people of Najafabad in the Islamic Council, referring to the approval of the Guardian Council with the resolution of reducing the military service and assigning the duties of the absentees, stated: According to the resolution of the Parliament in Article 102 of the 7th 5-year plan, which was approved by the Guardian Council, the General Staff During the implementation of the 7th Development Plan, the armed forces will reduce the military service to an average of 14 months (including the training period and also through replacement with other memberships) and determine the duties of the absent subjects.

He announced the reduction of the military service period to 14 months according to this law and said: The maximum period of military service is 14 months, which varies depending on the four types of weather zones, and in bad weather conditions in the border areas, the military service period is reduced to 9 months. It has decreased with education.

The representative of Najafabad in the parliament stated that the said plan should be implemented by September at the latest, and said: The executive regulations of this plan should be compiled so that it will be implemented in the first half of this year (1403).

Explaining another part of this law, Abu Tarabi said: This resolution emphasizes the assignment of the absent subjects by the General Staff of the Armed Forces, as well as students studying in prestigious foreign universities. Also, according to this decree, those over 35 years of age who have 2 or more children are exempted from public service.
