PSOE deputies accuse Ayuso of calling Sánchez a “son of a bitch”

PSOE deputies have accused the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, of insulting the socialist Pedro Sánchez from the guest gallery of Congress in the afternoon session of the investiture debate.
In his reply to the leader of the PP, Sánchez has assured that the previous president of the PP, Pablo Casado, “alerted about a probable case of corruption on the part of the president of the Community of Madrid” and that Feijóo’s response was to “evacuate the Mr. Casado in a coup and destroy that case of corruption of Mrs. Ayuso.
Isabel Díaz Ayuso, who was in the guest gallery looking at her cell phone, heard this mention and reacted with some words that several PSOE deputies interpreted as an insult to Pedro Sánchez.
“The intellectual Díaz Ayuso calls President Sánchez a ‘son of a bitch’,” deputy Arnau Ramírez wrote on the social network X. “It is an example of the very low level of those invited by the PP,” commented Monte Mínguez, general secretary of the Socialist Group.

For the acting Minister Spokesperson, Isabel Rodríguez, the leader of the PP of Madrid “missed the first class of respect for parliamentary decorum” and, in another message on the network known as Twitter, she has urged Núñez Feijóo to demand “a urgent rectification” to Díaz Ayuso.
“Providing forceful arguments in the Investiture Debate,” Cristina Narbona ironically said. “Ayuso leaves the Congress platform in Sánchez’s second reply lest the cameras catch him again saying that he likes fruit,” Francisco Aranda joked.
When Feijóo went up to the podium to take his second speaking turn, the first thing he did was reproach Sánchez for having “insulted” his party colleagues and cited Manuel Fraga, José María Aznar, Mariano Rajoy and the regional presidents, with special mention to Isabel Díaz Ayuso from Madrid, and “her family.”
Armengol asks for peace of mind
Those words have caused a stir in the chamber, which has led the president of Congress, Francina Armengol, to ask everyone present for “calm,” including those who follow the debate “from the tribune.”
“I ask you to calm down and that no one insult anyone, please, this is the house of the word, the temple of the word and of democracy,” he said.
Previously, Armengol had already requested silence on at least two other occasions and had invited their honorable Members to think about the image they convey to citizens with their behavior. “Insults have been heard, please behave with respect to the seat of national sovereignty and, therefore, to the citizens,” he pleaded.
