Gambling among children is a problem that is growing, in particular, as a result of blogger advertising. People who position themselves as public figures and influencers often do not hesitate to throw away any values if they can get money.
It is possible and necessary to fight with it. Ways to solve the problem were named exclusively for OBOZ.UA by psychologist Vera Romanova.
“It shouldn’t be about cancellation, it should be about some professional and moral standard. Do we have a blogger profession at KZOTe? No. We don’t have a KVED for blogger activity, but if we look at how they are positioned in the majority – it’s a public figure or something else,” the psychologist noted.
“Let’s turn to the Ministry of Economy, or the Ministry of Finance, and at least regulate KVEDs so that people engaged in blogging take money for blogging, and then we in KZOTe we can highlight a list of such specialties that must be regulatedand then be responsible for that informationwhich they provide,” suggested Romanova, suggesting that in this case these people will understand the consequences of their activities.
The psychologist believes that a certain information campaign, training for bloggers is necessary. They should not just tell their audience that the game is bad, but also explain, for example, how to help yourself control yourself.
Also, according to the psychologist, bloggers should tell how to organize their interest in games from the point of view of finances – do not “spend” their entire budget on it, but allow themselves to spend only a certain percentage.
That is, it is necessary to unite influencers and public figures and show ways of correctly conveying information to people, Romanova believes.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, economic expert Sergey Fursa expressed the opinion that a total ban on online casinos in Ukraine will not solve the problem of gambling. Better yet, limit casino advertising at the state level. It also distorts the advertising market and, in principle, it is too much, the specialist is convinced.
