Public Works continues with the improvement work on the GC-20 in Arucas

The Department of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the General Directorate of Road Infrastructure, directed by Rosana Melián, reports that on April 2 and 3 the provisional closure of one of the access lanes to the roundabout at the entrance to the town of Arucasthat of the Red Cross, from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
This provisional cut will take place from 8:00 a.m. until noon, during both days.
This action will be carried out to continue with the works on the Arucas ring road and the conditioning of the GC-20between PK 3+400 and PK 4+870, with the objective of carrying out the maneuver to place the rigid barrier on the shoulder line from one of the access lanes to the roundabout.
From the General Directorate of Road Infrastructure, drivers are asked to schedule their trips taking these circumstances into account and to exercise extreme caution and respect existing signage.
