Raquel Eugenio, the diamond of Canarian paddle tennis

Declared a High Performance Athlete after being third in Europe in the children’s category, which gives her the right to special aid and permits in her studies (“impossible to attend all classes due to the numerous commitments on the calendar both inside and outside the Canary Islands”) , Raquel has already acquired a vital rhythm typical of professionalism due to the demands and discipline that she has imposed on herself.which, together with his talent, has finished him off.

She herself acknowledges that, out of pure vocation, she always remembers practicing a modality that she is passionate about: “My family has always played paddle tennis and when I was 4 years old I was already hitting the racket.”

«I have a good time and that helps me cope with everything. Really, I would like to dedicate myself to this professionally and the results encourage me. But I also aspire to get a university degree, you never know what can happen in sport and I will always try to make studies compatible with paddle tennis,” she means.
