The project has a total area of 51.6 hectares, of which land clearance area is 29.15 hectares in 6 wards, involving 652 organizations, households and individuals located along La Khe canal.
The project has been approved for adjustment twice in 2019 and 2021, with a total investment of nearly VND 7,470 billion.
The project cluster has two major items, including the construction of the Yen Nghia drainage pumping station, hardening the La Khe canal to bring water to the suction tank and roads on both sides of the La Khe canal.

However, according to Ha Dong District People’s Committee, the site clearance process has many difficulties due to obstacles caused by changing policy mechanisms. The opinions and recommendations of the households have been recorded, compiled, and reported by the District People’s Committee and proposed to the city for resolution. Up to now, the problems have been resolved by the city and its departments and branches, especially resettlement work.
To date, site clearance work has covered 28.45 hectares (reaching 97.59%) and 26.32 hectares have been handed over to the investor for construction. Remaining about 0.81ha of more than 200 cases, Ha Dong District People’s Committee has approved the compensation and support plan and made payments. However, households and individuals have not received compensation support and have not handed over the premises.
