The People’s Committee of Thanh Xuan District (Hanoi) has just issued a document responding to the press related to the mini apartment “on crutches” at number 22, alley 236/17 Khuong Dinh (Ha Dinh ward).
According to Thanh Xuan District People’s Committee, the inspection of mini “crutch” apartments is being implemented by relevant agencies and has not yet yielded results.

“The current status of the project is an 8-storey house with a staircase. The above project is among the projects that Thanh Xuan district has reported to the inspection team according to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee,” Thanh Xuan District People’s Committee said. .

Previously, on February 24, people living in the 8-storey mini apartment building at 22 alley 236/17 Khuong Dinh had to move their furniture to another place because many concrete columns and beams in the building’s basement were cracked. .
This mini apartment building has nearly 60 apartments, which have been sold by the investor to households for use since 2017 until now. When the households had to relocate, some concrete and reinforced columns on the first floor of the apartment building cracked. To support the building, an iron scaffolding system was built around the base of the cracked columns.
