War in Ukraine – Russia is stockpiling weapons for strikes on Ukraine’s energy system

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Aleksey Danilov, warned that the upcoming winter will not be easy for Ukrainians, as the country is in a state of war. The aggressor state Russia continues to accumulate resources in order to strike at the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
Danilov said this in an interview with Radio Svoboda on Thursday, November 2. He noted that there is an understanding of what the enemy is counting on.
According to the Secretary of the National Security Council, the occupying Russian troops are preparing to strike as soon as the winter air temperature in Ukraine. The Russians have recently reduced the number of attacks on critical infrastructure as they stockpile weapons.
“The enemy is stockpiling weapons in order to harm us when the temperature is winter. We will definitely get through it. Such a winter will not be easy, because it is the winter of war, it is not the winter of a simple period,” he emphasized.
At the same time, Danilov added that “both the state and the companies responsible for this” are doing everything to prepare for possible attacks by the aggressor country.
Earlier, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Andrey Yusov, said that Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure of our country may occur in the winter, but it is possible that there will be fewer of them than last year. The Russian army is still stockpiling missiles for future attacks on Ukrainian cities.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat warned: since the enemy at this stage of the war in most cases resorts to single missile strikes, Russia is probably stockpiling weapons for future larger-scale attacks.
