I was only here for two seasons and it is true that it is surprising that they remember me with such good feelings and with so much affection. I will always be grateful to everyone and, of course, for the opportunity I have had to be part of this club.
-The sports director of Granca at that time, Himar Ojeda, told this newspaper how he managed to ensure that your signing did not escape him because he was blindly betting on you. How important were Himar Ojeda and coach Pedro Martínez in your career?
-Himar and Pedro have been two important people in my career. They bet on me to bring me to Spain and Gran Canaria. I will always be grateful to them for the effort they made and, of course, when I got here I had to play good basketball. My story could have been very short if I had arrived here and didn’t score any baskets or win games. My career in Spain could have been very short.

-I remember with great enthusiasm the Insular Sports Center. There we beat all the big teams in the ACB League except Real Madrid, but we were one of the few teams that beat Barcelona, which won the Euroleague that year -Lakovic was a player-. Like I said, I miss basketball and playing here a lot, but I can look back and say that I have helped the history of every team I have been on.
-In Utah you have to be a coach with your children now, right?
-Yes, I am training my daughter -Bella- and helping my son who is seven years old -Jagger-. You can’t escape basketball, it will always be a very nice part of my life and I’m still there to the fullest.
