When the war in Ukraine ends

The President of Ukraine admits that individual territories seized by Russia may be de-occupied not necessarily by military means.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that the loss of the Ukrainian lands occupied by the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in 2022 will force him to enter into a dialogue.

“We will not need to de-occupy all our territories exclusively by military means. I am sure that when he loses what he has captured, starting from 2022, he will completely lose the confidence of even those countries that still doubt whether to support Ukraine or not, and he will also lose power within his state. As soon as this happens, he will be ready for dialogue,” Zelensky said in an interview with the American television channel CBS.

At the same time, now, according to the head of the Ukrainian state, Putin does not want any dialogue.

“And when he is ready for dialogue, of course, the international conditions must be the liberation of our territories, the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” – emphasized Zelensky.

He also said that the question of when and who will participate in the negotiations is a second or third question. In addition, as Zelensky noted, it is necessary to force Putin to pay attention to the development of his state, and not to aggressive wars against Ukraine.

“For this, it needs to be weakened. It will be weakened at the international level. How? Isolate it economically with sanctions. We don’t just artificially say something about sanctions, and then find (ways) how to get around them,” Zelensky emphasized.

Also, the president of Ukraine said that additional 5-7 Patriot systems from the USA will protect industrial platforms in Ukraine so that citizens can work and children go to school. Additional air defense systems should help unblock the sky.

“And believe me, there will be steps forward. And this will be a relaxation for him (for Putin),” Zelensky said.

Negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine

As reported by UNIAN, recently during an interview with Putin’s propagandist Dmitry Kiselev, the Russian dictator said the following: “Now, to hold negotiations only because they are running out of ammunition is somehow pointless on our part.”

According to Filipp Pyatov, one of the commentators of the German publication Bild, Putin uses every military weakness to attack and achieve his goals – the destruction of Ukraine and the enslavement of the Ukrainian people. By “negotiations” Putin actually means nothing more than the capitulation of Ukraine.

Paul Ronzheimer, deputy editor-in-chief of Bild, believes that Putin’s goal has never changed: Putin wants to destroy Ukraine at the expense of an even greater number of his troops and military economy, leave it to exist, and erase its culture.
